stone cold fox! (pic heavy)

hey everyone! today i have a polish that has stolen my heart! it's absolutely gorgeous! it's Orly- Stone cold. the one and only complaint i have is that it dries a bit slow. that's not a problem tho if you have a good fast drying topcoat. Either way the outcome is so worth waiting for! have a look~~~

this is the most color accurate picture. it's somewhat dark, but not? idk.

i love how it looks here, in all its blurry goodness <3

this is a picture my hunnie took, doesn't the color look so squishy and yummy?

i've heard it's very simliar to OPi- Swimsuit...nailed it. but i'll have to see for myself :}

have you tried this color? what do you think of it? have you tried OPI swimsuit?

Day 5- A blue sandwich!

Reminder! my giveaway ends tomorrow! i'm looking forward to shipping out the prizes to some lucky winner!
so today i have day #5 which is blue. lately the sandwich/embedded/layer trend is going around. it's when you take a jelly polish (or a really sheer one) do 2 coats of it, add some glitter (preferably big glitter) and top it off with another coat of polish. hence the glitters become sandwiched/embedded/layered. it is a very cute look. to avoid having to do all this, because i am so impatient, i just made my own *Blue Sangwich Franken. yes you read that right, it's a sangwich, not a sandwich. let's see some pictures.
here's the pic of the bottle and isn't it the cutest?

it's such a yummy sangwich! this was 3 coats.

it's such a powdery light blue color. i can't stop looking at them!

*sigh* i love it!

what do you guys think about the sandwich trend? good or bad? have you tried layering glitter before?

Mix and match blues!

Hey everyone! I feel like i'm finally not crazy since i now have some followers to talk to! lol.
anyways, one of my favorite things to do when i paint my nails is mix and match a color. well, sometimes they match! for todays post i used a couple of blue for my NOTD. have a look :}

                              this is OPI ski teal we drop on my pinky, index, and thumb. it was fairly easy to apply, depending on how thick/thin you apply it you might only need 2 coats. Color Club factory girl on my ring finger. this was a pain in the rear to apply. it was very streaky, took 3 coats to apply but the pay off is so great. it's one of those "hey look at me! i'm bright but kinda pastel at the same time." love it. lastly is OPI simmer and shimmer on my middle finger(duh). *drool* who doesn't like a glitter? this was 3 thin coats.

and this is my left hand, i like to do them differently just to make it more fun.

Close up!
Do you ever mix and match your polishes? what's one of your fave color combos?

Part 2!

So, here is the other post i mentioned!
This was a great find for me, i got this color at Sally's for $1.99!! how awesome is that?!?!?!

Here is the ever so lovely China Glaze- Blue Paradise
It was actually a little darker looking on my fingers.
Here it is with no flash, and a little bit of sunlight.

See? just not so foil-y looking. still absolutely gorgeous and a must have for any blue lovers, especially if you find it on sale!

Have you ever found a really awesome polish at an unbelievable price?

Getting Started!

Hello there! anyone?

This is sooo exciting! My very first post! Since I know I usually (sometimes) don't really read what people write I'll get on with the pictures.
P.S. This will be the first and last time that I capitalize things like the word "I" or "I'll" or the first letter of a sentence. haha. great start!

Here's some NOTD!
This is Essies' Smokin' Hot with OPI black shatter. I forget which blog I stole this awesome look from, but I'm glad I did!(if you know where it might be from, let me know) In real life it's such a dark and classy look.

And just as a first post extra, here are my mammies nails. I got her to model the bottle!
It's called Aqua (so creative) by Love & Beauty. It's such a nice vintage blue with pretty silver shimmer! Don't worry I didn't accidentally paint her pinky finger, it's frosting! I don't think either of us noticed. WHOOPS.

Thanks so much for stopping by, and have a great day!!!!!! :}
